This was our last night in the
Bann Pantai Resort in Cha-am.
Today we go back to the
family in Lat Krabang.
We get up late.
The weather seems reasonable, dry and quite warm.
After breakfast we go for a short walk, to the Café Amazon where we drink our last coffee in Cha-am.
Pia is going to swim and then we pack and check out. We only have to pay the bills from the restaurant, just over THB 2000. We drive away at noon.
The return trip starts quietly, we buy some fruit on the way.
Near the exit to Thanon Rama II it appears that the exit is closed.
A diversion has been plotted, which fortunately is very clearly indicated.
At Thanon Rama II it becomes increasingly busier and busier, and there are also many
roadworks and the construction of a new Sky-Train line, not very nice to drive.
Also on the Kanchanaphisek Road it is very busy after the bridge over the Chao Phaya, there
is a lot of freight traffic.
Only after a few exits it becomes a bit quieter.
We take the exit to Thanon On Nut only at three o'clock, an hour later than Tom had expected
and hoped.
Because we are hungry, we stop at a Vietnamese restaurant Krua Muang Ve (คคัว เว้ เว้เว้ว ญวน ลลด กกะบัง)
where we have eaten on preveous journies.
The restaurant is completely converted and the food tastes great.
On half past five, we are at home in Lat Krabang again.
